Willis Carto, Liberty Lobby Founder: RIP

Willis A. Carto, a prominent and influential figure in the American “far right” for half a century, died of cardiac arrest on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015. He was 89. In 1955 he founded this organization, Liberty Lobby, which for decades published a weekly paper, The Spotlight. During his active life, he was involved with many other organizations and enterprises, including Noontide Press, Institute for Historical Review, the Populist Party, The Barnes Review, and American Free Press.
